Moreover, we improve standard processes to help identify and eliminate performance impediments, and also promote informed decision-making, resulting in cost savings and better outcomes.

Continuous development of Pimdee’s standards

Pimdee's production standards are subject to regular surveillance audits conducted by an external agency. Additionally, we conduct internal audits at least twice a year to ensure that all departments comply with our quality management system. These audits are essential for maintaining our certification and demonstrating our commitment to continuous improvement.

Furthermore, we provide comprehensive training to our new employees to ensure they have a thorough understanding of our quality management system and have the ability to work more effectively. The management team places a high importance on employee development, leading to in-house training and public training, such as machine operator skills. When new machinery is introduced, all relevant personnel, including operators, supervisors, and management, receive specialized training from the manufacturer directly on machine safety and maintenance.

For internal training, we have a department that is directly responsible for organizing training programs to provide appropriate courses for employees in each department to enable them to work more efficiently. Management also provides employees opportunities for professional development in both technical and personal areas; physical and mental health care.

Preparing to upgrade to a new standard ‘ISO/CD 9001’

With the upcoming revision of ISO 9001:2015 to ISO/CD 9001 in the next few years, PimDee is proactively preparing by learning new technologies, encouraging employees to attend industry events or training programs to stay updated on the latest printing technologies, innovations, and trends in printing both domestically and internationally.

Moreover, Pimdee raises the standard to meet international standards by following the International Accreditation Forum (IAF). This leads us to revise our standards by adding climate change into the management system. We have therefore sought measures to manage the critical issue as part of its responsibility. As a result, our recent recertification audit revealed no non-conformities. Our sustainability initiatives include proper waste segregation and disposal, on-site wastewater treatment before discharge, the installation of solar panels on roofs to reduce electricity costs, using clean energy to help preserve the environment, etc.

We also have a Quality Management Representative who continuously analyzes our quality management system to increase the efficiency of production and to meet the needs and expectations of interested persons. With Pimdee's current operations, we are confident that if this standard is raised, we will definitely be a part of it.
